Just wanted to let you know that your story, Shadows of the Past was the first and still in my mind the best fanfic I've ever read. I have loved and re-read the story multiple times for 2-3 years. You've wrote something fabulous and if you ever decide to complete it your patient fans would be overjoyed.

Thank you so much! This is such a blast from the past - I haven't written much at all for years now - life took a few dozen turns for the crazy! But I'm really glad to hear that someone enjoyed my little monstrosity, even after all this time. Even though I can't call myself much of a writer anymore, I'm still proud of it - and happy that it could bring you a little joy as well!
I'll be honest, there's no way I'll ever finish Shadows at this point... I'm just not the person I was when I started writing it, and I don't know if I could ever get back into it. But someday, I'd love to explore a lot of those same themes in a new story, assuming I ever get back into writing.
